Program Director

Wardeh C. Hattab, LCSW-R, CST

Wardeh is a licensed clinical social worker and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist based in New York City. She obtained her M.S.W. from the NYU Silver School of Social Work. Wardeh is a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators,Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is a member of the AASECT DEI Committee. She is

currently the senior social worker at a university counseling center, and also runs her own

part-time private practice.

 

Wardeh is very passionate about continuing education and has completed trainings in Internal Family Systems, Prolonged Grief Therapy, Body Trust, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy in addition to completing the University of Pennsylvania Oncology Social Work Certificate and University of

Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program.

 

She is a volunteer board member of Tarab NYC

and served on a mental health mission in Irbid, Jordan in November 2016 with the Syrian

American Medical Society (SAMS).

Prior to her current role, Wardeh worked in the adult inpatient and emergency psychiatric units

at Bellevue Hospital and Kings County Hospital in New York City in addition to the Metropolitan

Center for Mental Health and Community Mediation and Counseling outpatient community

health clinics.

 

She has given presentations on cross-cultural counseling in psychotherapy and

sex-affirmative work. Wardeh’s clinical areas of interest include trauma, somatic therapy, cross-

cultural counseling, Internal Family Systems (IFS), LGBTQIA+ communities, Middle Eastern North

African (MENA) communities, complicated grief, chronic medical conditions, Southwest Asian

North African (SWANA) communities, Arab communities, Muslim communities, existentialism,

recovery from diet culture/eating disorders, and sexual disorders.

Ashley N. Grinonneau, Ph.D., Sex Therapist, Relationship & Sexual Health Coach/Consultant, Sexuality Educator

 

Ashley has her doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy which was housed under the Counselor Education and Supervision program at The University of Akron. Dr. Ashley has worked in a  wide variety of settings since 2003 working with relationship and sexual issues. She has worked in community mental health non-profit setting, within healthcare systems, in higher ed, and has currently rested in the private practice realm where she is the Founder and Director of the Ohio Center for Relationship & Sexual Health and the Sexuality Training Institute.

Dr. Grinonneau specializes in working with individuals, relationship partners and couples with her uniquely,, direct nd straightforward approach. She provides coaching and consultation to clients on a wide variety of relational and sexual health challenges including and not limited sexual challenges, increasing sexual satisfaction, comfort and confidence, sexual fetishism, sexually compulsive behaviors across the lifespan, pelvic pain, infertility, sexual health in postpartum and perinatal periods, sexuality and aging, infidelity, ethical non-monogamy, kink, and gender identity exploration.

Dr. Ashley has taught and presented workshops in the field of sexuality at the national level, and has served as an academic consultant and instructor. She is extremely passionate about helping to make her small impact on the growing, yet still very limited, field of sexuality.
