Ashley N. Grinonnau-Denton, Ph.D., IFMT, PCC-S, CST, CSTS is dually licensed in Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist, both with Supervisor designation, as well being an AAMFT supervisor. She is a board-certified supervising sex therapist (CSTS) through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). She is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Ohio Center for Relationship & Sexual Health and the Sexuality Training Institute in University Heights, Ohio.
Dr. Grinonneau-Denton specializes in working with individuals, relationship partners and couples through integrated approaches to sex therapy and relationship therapy. She treats a wide variety of sexual health concerns such as sexual dysfunction, paraphilias, sexual abuse and trauma, sexual fetishism, sexually compulsive behaviors across the lifespan, pelvic pain, infertility, sexual health in post-partum, infidelity, non-monogamy, kink, and gender identity exploration.
Dr. Grinonneau-Denton has taught and presented workshops in the field of sexuality at the national level, and has served as an academic consultant and instructor.
R. Brian Denton, Psy.D., Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in the state of Ohio and is a Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Ohio Center for Relationship & Sexual Health and the Sexuality Training Institute in University Heights, Ohio.
Dr. Denton specializes in Mindfulness-Based treatment approaches, and the application of those modalities in the treatment of mental health and sexual health difficulties. In specific, he focuses on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as an underlying modality for the treatment of mental health and sexual health difficulties. He has specialized in the treatment of trauma-based difficulties, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. He further specializes in working with individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their sexual lives, including but not limited to sexual anxiety and functioning difficulties, problematic sexual behavior, sexual and gender identity, polyamory and consensual non-monogamy, and kink exploration and fetish behavior.
Dr. Denton has published on mindfulness-based treatment approaches as the lead author of the chapter “Clinical Uses of Mindfulness” in Innovations in Clinical Practice, and as third author of the book “Mindfulness in Clinical Practice”, a primer of mindfulness-based treatment approaches.
Dr. Denton is an experienced and sought-after presenter on a wide range of topical areas, and in particular for training around mindfulness, ACT, inclusion/diversity, and sexuality.
