
Jill Baird, Ph.D., CST is a psychologist, licensed since 2008, and an AASECT board Certified Sex Therapist since 2014. She has practiced therapy in a variety of settings in Ohio, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania since 2001.
After completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Miami University and her clinical internship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY in 2007, she was hired as the Interim Director of the Student Counseling Service at SUNY Upstate Medical University. In addition to assisting a diverse set of clients in private practice throughout her career, she has worked in clinical settings focused on specific populations including college students, medical professionals, veterans, and the elderly. She has taught psychology coursework at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate levels since 2008. She has supervised doctoral level trainees and interns and held various leadership positions.
Dr. Baird was the Program Director of the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, before transitioning to full-time practice in Beachwood, Ohio.
Dr. Baird's clinical interests related to sex therapy include problematic online sexual behavior, sexual dysfunction, sexual pain, trauma, and issues with sexual desire. Dr. Baird has been an invited speaker throughout her career, presenting topics such as: "Addressing Sexual and Relational Issues in Recovery from Cancer" and “Veterans’ Sexual Health: A Call to Action for the VA.”
In 2016, Dr. Baird published, "A Humanistic Approach to Problematic Online Sexual Behavior" in the Journal of Humanistic Psychology.
