This training will focus on working with clients navigating the aftermath of purity culture. Purity culture often has negative ramifications. This training will equip clinicians with practical solutions for clients who desire to experience purity culture recovery.   
 

After the presentation, participants will have learned...

1. About the negative impact purity culture can have on clients

2. Practical interventions and suggestions to use with clients

3. How to define and reframe purity culture narratives by providing a wide range of resources and strategies to help clients develop a new sexual ethic

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 2 CE credits and is considered synchronous learning if in attendance to the live webinar. Participants will be expected to complete a post webinar evaluation. These 2 CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification through the Sexuality Training Institute.
