Robin Wilson Beattie has a professional and educational background in disability self and systems advocacy, disability and sexual health education, public speaking, writing, and customer service. She has had unique opportunities in learning about the impact of identity on human sexuality. She has been a past speaker at the annual AASECT conference.
Life experience is a powerful teacher, and as a woman of color with hidden and visible disabilities, Robin has been able to advocate for diversity and inclusion in society as her lived experience.
Robin’s groundbreaking and revolutionary work in disability and sexual and reproductive health, and early employment in corporate America, Robin has learned the importance of empowering people to advocate for better access in their communities. Her educational background is in anthropology, sexual and reproductive health, and law. All of this has gifted Robin with a unique perspective and outlook on how we all can learn and support each other in being better- together.
